Quality and documentation

A formal quality management system is not published, because none has been established for publication. Specifications and documentation requirements can be discussed for each project.

What can be discussed

Buyers often ask which revision was quoted, whether a material note will be provided if the buyer specified the material, and which inspection records the chosen route can actually produce. Those questions are reasonable. The answers depend on the project and on the organization that does the work.

Ironvale does not claim ISO 9001, AS9100, or any other certification. If a supplier or production partner holds a certificate, that fact belongs to that organization and would be checked during qualification. It is not inherited by this website.

What is not invented

  • No default tolerance is applied when the drawing is silent.
  • No material certificate is promised unless the selected route issues one.
  • No weld code is selected on the buyer behalf.
  • No inspection plan is published as a standing company procedure.

The resource on drawing packages and the list of questions for a contract manufacturing partner are written so those gaps stay visible.
