IV-SRC
Industrial component sourcing
Component sourcing starts from a part number, a drawing, or a written description. Ironvale looks for a credible supply path and says when the package is not complete enough to compare.
Intended business direction. This page is not a stocked catalog, a process capability list, or confirmation that a project will be accepted.
What sourcing is, on this site
Sourcing means identifying a component or assembly that matches the requirement you wrote down, then putting the commercial terms in a written response if a path exists. It is not a claim that the item is on a shelf. No lead time, interchange, or stock status is published here.
Related enquiry directions include industrial components and machinery and equipment components. If the part has to be made rather than bought, the conversation moves toward manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
How to prepare the request
Use the RFQ checklist and, when offers come back, the quotation comparison. Compare scope before price. A lower number with a different revision is not the same offer.
